Instead of using wax to create the waterproofing layer, uncoated paper is given a special finish to strengthen the material. The process begins when the paper is made, but the coating is added after the rolls are finished being rolled into tissue paper. The rolls are dipped into vats containing a chemical solution, and then they’re left to dry for a few seconds. They’re then washed and dried. That’s the end of the process. 

Coated paper is the weakest and shortest-lived of all the tissue paper varieties. The coating process begins after the paper is made, but the coating is added before the rolls are finished being rolled into tissue paper. The rolls are dipped into vats containing a chemical solution, and then they’re left to dry for a few seconds. Next, they’re washed and dried. The last step involves applying another chemical solution to the paper and then washing it with soap and water. The paper is allowed to dry for a couple of minutes, and you’re done!
